Dr-Tannenbaum

Dr. Darryl A. Tannenbaum is an honors graduate from Harvard University and a Cum Laude honors graduate from Harvard Medical School.

Born and raised in a town of 3,000 in the Catskill Mountains,  Dr. Tannenbaum was the first from his community to set his sights on becoming an orthopedic surgeon.   While in his third year of medical school, he applied and was selected for a  fellowship in orthopedic research at the prestigious National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

He chose the residency for his orthopedic training to be the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, because of  its special relationship with the big 10 sports teams and world renown orthopedic program.

Dr. Tannenbaum was one of the first to be invited to learn the cutting edge technique for minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery due to his surgical high volume and exceptional patient outcomes.  Dr. Tannenbaum travels nationwide to continue his education in the field of surgical and medical orthopedic care and techniques, as well as being the keynote speaker on hip and knee revision and replacements himself.

When Dr. Tannenbaum is not seeing patients, he enjoys  his family and is passionate about running and marathons.
